On Kansas Day the 4th grade class made bread in a bag. This was quite an experience as many students had never made bread of any kind, especially not in a bag. We also attempted to make hard tack, a type of bread-cracker that was eaten long ago! The bread was a success, the hardtack however, was not. Unfortunately it was far to burnt for us to taste, but we could tell by the looks of it that we would rather eat the bread!
Too bad you can't smell through a computer, I love the smell of freshly baked bread! Where are the pictures of the hardtack?
